Looking for Health in All the Right Places

We brainstormed the title of the web site to tickle your own brain with at least two truths. “Eat, Drink, and Go Veggie” reflects the message of Genesis 1:29 and “Looking for Health in All the Right Places” leads us to the source of all healing.

Genesis 1:29-30

Genesis 1:29-30

For Bible Believers, tracking the truths comes easily. For those who have chosen other paths of spiritual pursuit, the truths remain. God describes life through spokespeople like Moses, who authored the first five books of the Old Testament, the foundation of creation and the Judeo-Christian Faith. In the first chapter of the first book, just after describing the creation, he explains man’s diet this way,

29 Then God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you; 30 and to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the sky and to every thing that moves on the earth which has life, I have given every green plant for food”; and it was so.” Genesis 1:29-30

Modern science and our own experience have led us to embrace the vegetarian lifestyle based on this truth. The Hallelujah Diet makes it plain and easy to adopt. Somewhere in the spectrum between being a radical Raw Food follower and the more liberal Nutritarian, you will find a path to health for yourself.  We suggest you start here.

“You don’t have to be sick!” The message came loudly and clearly through the little book “Why Christians Get Sick” by Reverend George Malkmus*, which became our introduction to the basics of living a healthier lifestyle twenty-five years ago. Thousands of testimonies from Hallelujah Diet adopters convinced us to try it.

2500 years ago, or so, Israel had a king named David, a worshipper and songwriter. After experiencing and surviving a “pestilence” in the nation, David penned these words as part of Psalm 30,

“O Lord my God, I cried to you for help,
and you have healed me.” Psalm 30:2

In his exposition of this passage, Charles H. Spurgeon writes, “If we must have a physician, let it be so, but still let us go to our God first of all; and above all, remember that there can be no power to heal in medicine of itself; the healing energy must flow from the divine hand.”
